THE FUTURE OF FURNITURE DESIGN
RGE has continued to invest in product design and research facilities, so that we are able to push the boundaries of what can be achieved with plastic injection moulding. Attention to detail is paramount, and we work closely with each customer to ensure that our services meet their requirements.
Our design engineers are capable of creating designs from scratch based on an initial concept or brief, but often build upon the customer’s ideas or help to adapt any previous designs that a company may have commissioned in the past, in order to make them suitable for the injection moulding process.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
After meeting with our design team, initial sketches are put together to gain a better understanding of the direction the client would like to go. 3D modelling is produced, then in-house software packages are used to produce SLA, SLS, and rapid modelling.
Our design team works closely with each customer with each step of the process, to ensure that the final design meets their vision.

Our production design engineers have conceived, designed, and engineered some extremely popular and recognisable furniture products globally, including high end and high volume office furniture designed and manufactured by RGE.
We have worked with the world’s biggest furniture manufacturers over a number of years, designing and producing over 5 million chairs. Our experience spans a variety of industries, creating furniture for offices, schools, universities, homes, and more.
