CONTRACT CHAIRS
Contract chairs are used in commercial spaces - by businesses and in other places of work, as well as in public and educational spaces. This includes offices, as well as public dining and entertainment venues, such as restaurants and conference spaces. Schools, colleges, and universities also use contract furniture to create a uniform but comfortable learning environment. Contract furniture undergoes specialist testing, and meets regulations not required for furniture in your home.
The Datum and Public ranges make up our contract chair offerings, tested to BS EN 15373: Level 2, structurally suitable for heavy duty domestic and contract use. Their many variations include chrome, brushed metal, colour matched, and copper frames, with swivel bases, armchair additions, and writing tablets, suited to meet any commercial use.
TEMPLE CHAIR
Sleek, supportive and sustainable - with an organic rather than technical style, the Temple is elegant, timeless and unique in character, suiting home use as well as in the workplace.
The Temple is our first recyclable chair made from approximately 90% recycled plastic. Made using injection moulding, there is little-to-no waste throughout the entire production process. With sustainability at the core of its design, the Temple can be refurbished as needed and eventually recycled at the end of its life.

TASK CHAIRS
Task chairs are designed to be functional chairs, suitable for a variety of activities and body types. These chairs often come with or without arm and are popular fixtures within an office or academic setting. These chairs are ergonomically designed, built to support the body, promote good posture, and prevent discomfort. Task chairs are highly adjustable to meet personal needs.
RGE has experience working on a range of task chairs over our 60 year history, and recently launched our first task chair - the Temple - designed and manufactured completely in-house. We are also able to offer a wide range of task chair components such as backs, mechanisms, arm pads, chair bases, gas lifts, and castors.
